Iran’s ‘The Little Emigrant’ heads to Australia

Sydney House of Dramatic Arts in Australia is to present ‘The Little Emigrant’ from Iran.

The Sydney House of Dramatic Arts (SHODA) in Australia has set to present ‘The Little Emigrant’ play from Iran next month.

‘The Little Emigrant’, written and directed by Fereydoun Mehrabi, is an adaption of Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s masterpiece ‘The Little Prince’.

The play is narrated by a pilot who accidently meets the little emigrant. The little emigrant tells the pilot about the stories of his journey from Nari to the new country.

Shayan Askari, Afshin Safari, Maedeh Timajchi, Pegah Panah, Marjan Lotfali, Sogand Majnouni and Aida Farbod are among the cast members of the play.

The SHODA is co-founded by Mehrabi and Behnam Fahimnia.

The play will be performed in Monkey Baa, Australia's leading professional theater company for young audiences, in Sydney on June 14-16.
